• How do I print my coloring sheets?

On the contents page of your eBook click the link to the image you want to print. Choose from one of the sizes above the preview image - go to 'file' - select 'print' - select 'properties' - choose your required settings and size of paper ('print preview' is helpful) - click OK. Choose number of prints required and click OK. If available remove 'headers and footers' and choose 'maximum printable area'.



• How do I print different sizes of pages - or make printer adjustments?

Make sure you click the appropriate link in your eBook (either A4, A3, letter or tabloid) - choose your page size to match from 'print setup' within your file menu. If the preset links do not fit your page exactly try making minor adjustments to the page percentage setting if available.

TIPS: Use 'maximum printable area' or 'borderless printing' if available - also, print quality will improve dramatically if you use coated paper with your injet machine. If possible select - 'remove headers and footers' and/or 'fit to page' options - these settings may improve your printouts.

As all printer drivers and printer capabilities are different if you are having problems please refer to your printers manual.



• What makes your coloring eBooks better than the free coloring pages I can find on the web?

• Why is a registration key (username and password) emailed to me?

Coloring eBooks purchased can only be used by the customer - downloaded eBooks cannot be duplicated, ie copies are disabled in order to protect copyright - the username and password allows you to unlock and use your eBook.

Please keep your username and password safely recorded - you may wish to move and reregister your eBook on a different computer.



• Can I save ink when printing?

You can save ink by printing your color example pages at a smaller size (if your print driver allows this) - 50%-75% on letter paper should make reasonable savings in ink consumption. Line illustrations only use black and does not use a lot of ink. As a suggestion - when printing tabloid coloring pages, print the letter coloring guides (or smaller) to give to your child.



• How long will it take to download my purchased coloring eBook?

This depends on your internet connection speed - broadband users can download in a minute or so - slower speeds will take longer.



• I've heard from some sources that coloring books are not good for kids - is this true?

Some argue that coloring books actually stifle creative thinking however many parents we've spoken to have said that using them actually helps their children develop concentration as well as eye and hand coordination! Recently a parent told us they also help to develop writing skills in younger children.

In our opinion balancing the use of coloring books with freehand drawing and coloring is the best combination - ultimately, as the parent, it's up to you to decide.



• Can I use my new coloring eBook on more than one computer?

The license that comes with your eBook allows use on only one computer that can be connected to the internet for the eBook's initial registration. If you wish to move your eBook to a different machine you will need to unregister it first - then, when transferred to another computer, reregister it with your username and password.



• How do I unregister my eBook in order to reregister it on another computer?

Open the eBook in question, then click on the 'R' icon to unregister. Alternatively - click on 'Help' and then 'Unregister'. You'll need to be connected to the internet to unregister your eBook.



• Can I make copies of my downloaded eBook?

No. When buying one of our eBooks you are actually acquiring a license to use it for your personal use only - the illustrations are protected by copyright - duplicated eBooks are remotely disabled.



• What happens if I try to make a copy of my eBook?

The duplicate will be remotely disabled.



• My eBook is asking me to connect to the internet - why?

The first time you use your downloaded coloring eBook you will need to be connected to the internet to register it. Also, on a random and periodic basis your eBook will want to connect in order to automatically verify its registration. Your eBook will ask you to connect when these two events happen.




• How many coloring sheets can I print out?

The license that comes with your new eBook allows you to print out your coloring sheets an unlimited number of times - as long as this is for private/home use only. Use when traveling or when away from home is permitted by the license.



• Do I need to download any other software to use my new eBook?

The eBook utilizes your internet browser allowing you to print as you would from a simple website.

You only need to have installed the free Flash Player (if not already on your machine) - you can download the latest version here : www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer - file size is approx. 880k.



• Are all browsers compatible with your coloring eBooks?

Our eBooks will not work with old browsers - 4th generation browsers or higher are required. If you use an older browser you should visit www.microsoft.com/ie to download the latest free version of Internet Explorer.



• Coloring eBooks - are they Mac compatible?

Unfortunately at this time our eBooks only run on a Windows-based PC platform.

In order to use one of our coloring eBooks on a Mac you'll need to have a PC emulator program such as Virtual PC or SoftWindows. At this time there are no scheduled updates to the software that would resolve this.



• Do I need to be connected all the time to the internet to use my new coloring eBook?

No, you only need to be connected when you first use your eBook - as well as on a random and periodic basis in order for the eBook to automatically verify its registration. The eBook will ask you when it wants to connect.



• I don't have broadband - can I still buy one of your coloring eBooks?

Yes, however you will have to wait slightly longer to download your eBook file.
